Meet Hairiette of Harlem!
We believe it’s one thing to give a child a book; it’s another thing entirely to motivate and inspire them to read it! Hairiette of Harlem is a book series about the misadventures of an impatient 7-year-old named Hairiette and her magic friends, Charlie the Comb and Barbara the Barrette. The brand serves children under 11, their teachers and family/caregivers!

“I bought Harriette of Harlem for my goddaughter for Xmas. She has been having difficulty and little interest in reading. So I told her mom I she was getting books for Xmas, not dolls…I saw your post about your book and I remembered you from The Cosby Show. So that was what she was getting for Xmas! Her mother and I were both surprised by how much she LOVES this book. Other have not kept her interest. She asks to read it every day! They finished it and she asked to read it again until I find her another book. So now I have to find her another book…” —- @kapesq
